Systematic Innovation Conference in Taiwan
After more than a year in planning, the First International Conference on Systematic Innovation is running this week in Hsinchu, Taiwan, and the second has been announced for March 24-26 in Shanghai. I'm blogging daily to the commentary column of the TRIZ Journal http://www.triz-journal.com/commentary/ so I won't repeat the comments here. The program is quite wide-ranging, including both non-TRIZ based and TRIZ based Systematic Innovation. Primary difference from US and European conferences is the very strong academic representation--it will be interesting to see if this results in academic programs that penetrate industry over the next few years.
